Ocean Vuong writes beautifully, and this is no exception. I was sad to finish this book the other night, and will most definitely reread it in the future.

The plot isn’t the most important part, though it’s compelling, and the characters are beautiful. Vuong’s writing is reliably able to make me feel that I’m seeing the world in a more beautiful and awe-some way.
